Registration Fees      
Thermal Burn Module (8 hours – Max 8 CME Credits):  Physicians $300   Nurses & Others $250
 
EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
1)    Identify and treat the different types of burns likely to occur during a wide-spread burn disaster situation in Arizona.
2) Operate the telemedicine system to triage and treat burn patients that present to their facility during a burn disaster.
3) Participate efficiently in the Burn Disaster Network to manage a large-scale burn disaster and work with other Network members to provide the best possible patient care.
 
 
Maricopa Integrated Health System (MIHS) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for
Continuing Medical Education (ACCME®) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. 
                      Maricopa Integrated Health System designates this educational activity for a
maximum of  8 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit TM. Physicians should only claim credit
commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
This is an approved Continuing Education Program for RNs. “Provider Approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number CEP 10612, for 8.0 contact hours.” This document needs to be retained by the licensee for a period of four years after the course concludes. Maricopa Integrated Health System officially on file with the BRN.
